I hunt maps I am testing, The Hunter and other dh2005 maps just for fun.
But I spend most time making maps, about another 40 Hours A week.
This weeks map represents about 65 hours of work, some only take 10 or 12.

Lat week I spent 9 hours straight on Wednesday to get my entry together .
last night 4 hours to get a distance and weight and the rest I will have to spend looking for a WR Roe.
Havnt seen one yet.

Who knows how much longer that will take.

I figure out what is needed to be up near the middle to top and that is my goal.
Sometimes do better , sometimes worse.
this week a 380 plus distance, a 65lb or better weight and 73 0r better rack.
When they are in the bag I'm done.

As long as I am enjoying the weekly hunt I will compete.
When it gets to Heavy I move to other hunt related things.

The most important thing is that I enjoy what time I spend.
And remember, no matter how big that deer is that you killed  ...on my map ...to beat me.. This has meant using unlinked objects in place of  dynamics when placing grass, bushes and crops but this has presented some difficulty
in as much as those with lower end computors will have lower frame speeds but without the option of being able to recover by lowering the ground object setting.

Those of us making maps are now very aware of tuning our maps for the best frame speeds we can and all maps that I test for uploading need to acheive a minimum frame rate before uploading to site.
Most of these maps will run well on high settings on lower end computors.

This weeks map is an OLD STYLE map which uses dynamics in the old way.

Generally there is a new consensus on site that we all hunt with the highest settings we can manage. The screen shot and dht tell where your ground settings were when you shot the animal so we pretty much know what your etical value settings are as well.

Run the map to suit you computer. There are many tricks to get improved frame rates so If you want some help to tune your computer for better frame rates at higher settings, post or come on Team speak .

Have fun competing, dont take unfair advantage and show us what you are made of ( I have already heard that you are Dangerous) so I look forward to having someone else beat me.
