This may offend some, but the latest game poll makes no sense at all. Why would you need a "GUIDE". If you can't even find the prey yourself, go play tetris or super mario. These games should require some effort and knowledge to play. If you had to have a guide, maybe you could loan him your weapon and let him shoot for you too....lol
If it's made too easy, it might as well be an arcade game like shooting gallery.

I'm assuming "guide" means someone to lead you to where the animals usually are. If it means something else, please clarify

Yea I understand what ya mean there Mossy.  Having a guide would take alot of the fun out of it. I mean one of the main points is to find and locate the animals yourself.  Not much fun if the guide tells you where everything is.   I think it would be ok if it was to have a tip thing like some of the other games.  But guided not much fun there.

I moved this to the new hunting game board, as this is where any thoughts and ideas for a new hunting games should be.
I have to agree and hope that if there is a guide that the guide is disabled in Expert Mode or something similar to that. From the standpoint of tournaments, you would not want to be hunting without the use of a guide, and have others using a guide.

Exactly, no "hunting" to it. It would just become a "shooting game"......lol

Got some good points there Mossy...I personally would'nt want a guide in the game, but if there was one it would need to have the option to disable it, but it could come in useful for the younger hunters out there

Chris from SLS was the one who originally asked this question so maybe he could shed some light on it.  Maybe if they had a guide for the beginner level, that would help out the newbs alot.

From what I understand the "Guide" will be sort of a playable tutorial for "newbs" as you call them. I think Chris said there were originally 9 parts to the tutorial. Everything you would need to know to get started. From using bows to animal behavior.

If that is the case, it would be a good thing, but the use of the word "guide" in relation to hunting is misleading; especially when one of the choices was whether to use it or not. Maybe it should be called a "playable trainer or tutorial".

Going to put my .rec files on the winners page soon, check it out for yourself. My mule is there now. Will put the others for IOWA in a bit.  I don't know what it is about all these rare lately, I also see a fat doe in scout mode last Sunday afternoon trying to figuring out where I would spend the week loading at.
