My Deer Hunter 2005 Crashes every 20 - 30 minutes! I have changed the video card, there aren't virus or spyware, and reinstalled the game! I hope that anyone can help me because I can't play the tournaments in this status! Cry   Thanks

Try setting the video settings down some in the game, also if you have a lot of custom maps in you game try taking some out and use only the one you want to hunt, this helped me once.  It may be your video card in the computer that is going or the CPU, hope not, try other stuff first.

Also make sure you have the proper patch installed.

Without knowing the hardware specs on that computer, I would say something is being overloaded. It could the memory, the video driver or the video card itself. But, in  that case, any high demand game would crash the computer. Do what JJ said first.  Make sure the video driver is up to date, and keep the custom maps stored eslewhere on the computer, and move the ones U want to play  into the game. Too many maps causees slow loading, but crashing isn't that common.

My PC is an Intel Celeron 2.66 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, 128 MB video card (Radeon 9100 series) and my hard disk has 38 gigabyte. I have deleted all the maps, but it crashes every 20-30 minutes. Probably I must change the hard disk?

DH 05 is best handled with a 256mb AGP or PCI-E  card.  The memory is a lil on the low side. If less than 25%  of the hard drive is empty, U could start running into virtual memory problems. That normally doesn't crash the game or the computer but will slow down the CPU to  a snails pace b/c the computer has to handle all of the proccesses 1 at a time.  The CPU is plenty fast enough. I could be wrong but i'm thinking the problem lies in the hardware. DH 05 is picky about current drivers. Thats really on the grfx end in my experience though, and has only caused textures to go all wacko.
I would need more specific info about the crashes though, such as self restarts, blue screen, crashes to desktop ect. to narrow down whats happening.

Is that video driver the latest version for that video card?  do you play other games long enough to cause a crash? If other games are crashing, The problem is either the video driver or the harware is faulting.

Before you do anything that drastic, do some simple troubleshooting.
1. Remove the video card and put it back in. It may not be seated propperly. That will generally cause lock up of the system.
2. Do the same with the memory modules, or move them to other slots. (refer to mobo user manual if it's dual channel capable) the slots maybe color coded for single channel of dual channel memory.
Wear an anti static band to reduce the risk of doing damange or keep one hand on the case for a few seconds b4 putting ur hands that close to the mobo.
