dont feel bad jimmy mine says must allow java applet, active x by clicking the little bar up above. Beats me on that one

The old Chat caused the site to crash when it got to many members on it. Chat Boards are very CPU Hungry and use up alot of resources.
We now have a new Chat up, it is a Java Chat, and is run on another server, but at a cost to us. This chat is cositing us an extra $15 a month to provide. So again I have to stress that we need donations. As this site is Growing and getting better, it's costs are also growing!!!
We are still getting the Chat configured properly, should be completed by tomarrow. If you recieve a message that Active X is needed, like the blocks that stop downloads, you will need to clicl on the little information bar and allow the Active X java Chat to run.

also u need java enabled. if u dont have java. or need a new one.

I put the original chat back up, supposedly this newer version is more server friendly than the older version. We will see what happens...... if it crashes the site again, we will have to figure something else out.

seems to work ok for me so far. Hope it doesnt crash like the old one. This one seems to load faster too.

They claim this new version is easier on the server. This one works on our site, so it puts a pretty good load on the server when there are alot of people talking. Hopefully it will work okay this time, seems like we had alot of people in chat when we used this one, and it pops up in its own window makeing it easier for people rather than loading two versions of the site.
