Click on Start then on run. Type in gpedit.msc This opens the group policy oject editor for the computer. Follow the path as illustrated below. Administrative templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler. double click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth then enable it and set it to 0. By default, in it's not configured state, it is holding back 20% of the speed of your connection. I guess I got my answer. If you know a way to do this for the Win XP Home edition, PLEASE let me know. Or Does the home edition not limit your bandwith? a 20 % boost in speed would make my whole month. ;D ;D ;D
