#7/World Record Blues

You ever wonder why a World Record just will not show up as you sit in you tripod or one of those fixed setups. Most of the time you see these guys is because you dropped in close to them when you entered the map.Now for some serious hunting its time to hit the ground stalking. They're not known to answer calls verry well so we want to find them roaming out there mostly by them selfs.I normally enter the center of the map an move with the wind vane until I hit the wall of the map. This cuts down on the distance to travel. After three(3) attempts I go to th "Target Range" or another map an then back again to the map I was hunting on.If you are using two maps for a Tournment an like them both you can hunt from one to the other.Eighty(80) percent of my WR are taken on the stalk.  Smile

Happy Hunting

I would like to make a post script to Blitzkings stalk.  When stalking or just looking with the hunter in a unfamiliar area, remember to use the keyboard keys and the mouse to look from side to side as you move forward.  If you have good sight distance, the side to side looking and forward looking combined can cover much more territory than just looking straight ahead.  even once in a while look behind you as just like in real life the WR's will sometimes try to sneak out behind you.

That's an excellent point Lucky! While riding on your horse, and having your settings set on "Vehicle Free Look" (I believe) You can move forward and look left or right. Using your horse will allow you to cover great distances on the map while observing your surrounding quickly. Give it a try & master it! You will be a pro at finding the big ones in no time. Good Luck!
