i downloaded the hunter and i think its bogus. I mean the graphics and movement are AMAZING. Why do they make us spend a hand full of money on everything i see..the maps are annoying without a vehicle of some sort to help me get to the other side. its like an incomplete game even if you buy memberships that are way over priced. They should add more maps, items and animals then put the game on disc and sell it PLUS expansions from there.

Whats the game coming to over there, whats there direction?

I am going to disagree.
For less than the cost of a few beers, hours of hunting and no Hangover. Rolling Eyes
Still to each his own.
Stay away from the memberships and only buy licences for the species you want to hunt.
I think I may have missed your introduction. So welcome to Hagadoo, Very Happy

Well I have tried to avoid talking about the hunter but you got me started. lol  Yes it's a pretty game and such but I don't think they have any direction to where they are going.  First the company closed up shop or something like that and now they say because of the weather they weren't in the office.  Come on, give me a freaking break.  If they ever get their heads out of their azzes and decide on a direction and give the players what they want "multi-player"  maybe I will play it again.  Until then I personally am not going to waste my time on it.

The online hunting community is about a 50 / 50 split on The Hunter. The hunter guest player is a free play version, if you want to do more, it will cost more. Some say this is why the game has been struggling, to many people free playing and not enough paying. The Hunter uses the new technology in graphics making the game second to none visually, but lacks Multi-Player, its biggest draw back, IMO. If you have a PC that can run the game, you will have a great experience, if you have a 3 or 4 year old wally world PC, you will have problems, probably even on the low setting. The developers are currently "Restructuring" and only provides short & sweet statements to keep the core community around. We are told that something big is around the corner, we are all waiting to see.
Long story short, stick around here and hunt with us! You will l find more enjoy and more support then at the hunter. The game is 5 years old, but is more versatile then the hunter, more enjoyable, and more fun to hunt with friends on line.

I am just curious to know if i should waste my time on deer hunter 2005 or the hunter. I think Deer Hunter series is were i will stay at. i have team speak..i am going to buy deer hunter 2005.

The only thing that's making me wanting to play the hunter instead is graphics, they are just up tight stunning! Who can deny?! But i rather have game play then graphics.
