I say there, is anybody  besides me having a bit of a problem taking down those axis deer with the 207 single shot?? Seems that it takes several shots ( 3 or more) just to slow them down LOL That's if you can find them again after taking a shot. Could be just me being a lousy shot, huh? Confused

Guess I'll just have to get a lot closer before I take a shot. Besides that, where is the best area on the deer to place a good shot with the smaller bullet???

Just sounding off, I guess. Hope nobody thinks that I'm really complaing, though. Smile

That is correct in what you are saying. It will take me 2 shots minimum to bring them down. You have to use all your self taught tracking skills to find them on this map this week. So watch where they run to, they usually run is a straight line direction, until they hit an edge of the map.

I wanted to make the hunt challenging, but not to hard, that's why I made it a weight (meat hunter) type hunt. Hope all are enjoying it. Smile

In the head at less than 40 yards you'll kill him in one shot (but not with bullet cam)

NO! YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE .207. IF IT WAS UP TO ME, I WOULD RIP IT RIGHT OUT OF THE GAME, I HATE IT. Sad

Did get to sneak up on a good one for the first time. Got to within 20yds and got a head shot. Took him down with one shot. Used up quite a bit of sent stomper, though Very Happy  My problem is getting close enough to get a shot LOL

After talking about it on TS, I took some suggestions and calibrated my custom s.s. pistol to 219 yds, using TK's 207 lobber reticle with the 4x12 scope, and getting under 100 yds to take a head shot.  Specifically an eye shot if possible. It works well for me, much better than the 109 yds calibraton suggested by the game.
