How to add nodes or zone a map.
by: Magnum1973

Click on the path nodes plugin. Open the page "create/destroy" also open "view/change nodes info"Select the "ray trace terrain only" option.

Move the camera to where you want to place your nodes. Change the radius to 500 and click create new node at cameras position.

You will now see a blue bubble.

Click on feed area and this will designate your area a feed area.

Now when you create your second node you will see a line connecting it with the first node. You can prevent this by unchecking "auto-linked created nodes.

Add more feed areas if you want.

Now lets creat some bedding areas... change the radius to 1500. Uncheck the box that says feed area. Click creat new node at camera position and change the nodes info to bed_area. You should have something like this now.

Note: your total feed and bedding areas should have a total combined radius of at least 4000. When you go to create your spk file it will give you an error message stating what you need to fix if anything. You can also select any of the node by left clicking on them until they turn light blue. When I am done with that node I always click on it again so
that I don't accidentally change it.

Lets create some move nodes.
change the radius to 50 and click auto link created nodes. Note: you don't have to add move nodes. Click create new node and change it to move node. Add your node.

continue adding your move nodes. This will be the path the deer follow. When you are done remember to save. Simply create your spk file and your map will be noded or zoned.
