Well Mossy you're very WRONG about the map maker having no control where the deer are,
that's Freakin BS because you can put nodes in the map like where they will bed and feed!!
So DON'T say that the map maker can't!!

Is this a map making thread or what, everyone knows about nodes or can read about it in the tutorials. I never used nodes in any of my maps, the deer in my maps go anywhere they choose, they are born free. That is not what Mossy said anyway, he said "where the deer load".  There is a lot of other stuff said in these post that is also wrong, but I am not going to beat up on people here about it.  If I had come back as staff, "against the wishes of others", I would make Ray to put his 100 dollars back into his wallet and cancel the tournament, then start giving out weekly certificate wall paper again.

My bad, I just made the assumption that since nobody I know bothers with nodes any more, why mention them. But even with nodes (or zones if you prefer) it doesn't take an experienced hunter long to figure out where they are. Even then there's no guarantee the deer will load where you do.
There is a lot of false information passed on to new hunters by self proclaimed experts (things like "if the wind sock turns red, there's a buck close by", and "You can see more blacktails in bad weather", etc). There's even a list of "hot spots" for the stock maps, but you can hunt them for hours and never see a deer. Where the deer load is entirely random. I just try to keep it real for the noobs sake.
I was only making a suggestion as others were, but it seems my suggestions are considered criticism or "busting chops". It appears if your opinion does not agree with certain others, you should keep it to yourself. Well, lesson learned.

Where I live, we have a couple sayings to live by:
1. The sun don't shine on the same dogs butt all the time.
2. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch......... Laughing

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch...

Jesse, I would like to suggest that the money stay in the Tournament and for the members to appreciate the fact that Hagadoo is putting up the money, and not wanting donations...(even though I would be glad to help out as well as others). I believe whoever wins the Tournament deserves the prize...REGARDLESS OF WHO WINS....and if in  the future if  Hagadoo wants to have a prize money tournament Hunters that don't think they can beat the favorites (as Mossy Stated) "Can stay on the Porch".. Laughing

Hey Mossy we have a saying where I come from also......."You aint seen Bad Yet, But it's Comin"... Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing     I'm on Vacation the 6th thru the 10th of July.....I will win that weekly Tourny!!!!!! If I don't.....well, I'll just have to take another vacation to waller in my embarassment!!!!
Good Luck to all the Teams in the upcoming apparent Armageddon and may the best team win!!  By Ya'll!!
