Well thank God, I think spring is here. With warmer weather knocking on our doors steps, an everyone wanting to go outside & clean up their yards, I would like to take a minute or two & talk about the focus & direction of Hagadoo.
1. Magnum & I would like to personally thank all our regular members continuing to hunt with us week to week. Your support is appreciated. Our numbers have been slipping a little, so if you know any one interested in good competitive weekly hunts with some of the best, please invite them.
2. DH2005, "The Legend", & Special Tournaments. DH05 will continue to be the mule here! Our skill building series is slowly using up all the weapons. For all those who have been hunting regularly with us & don't have the "All Gold Weapons " trophy, you're almost there. This is a prized procession for the game, something you can brag about when earned. Jesse James is leading the way for the legend. He has a commanding lead, with Mossy in trail! Good luck to the both of them, who knows, maybe we will have a new DHAC Legend come June! I will probably be making some changes to the Legend starting for July. Please keep watching the forums, I will have an update near the end of May 09. I would like to have another special tournament between now & when school gets out. I have and Ideal for one Smile The only problem is the load on the hunters & staff. If I get enough feed back from our hunting base, I will put it together!
3. DH2007ISV, & The Hunter.  Magnum & I were talking about possible stopping these weekly hunts. Our numbers have fallen off in the past weeks. If Emote ever gets their act together & delivers us a trophy room, I would like to bring The Hunter into our weekly schedule. The biggest problem stopping this is, it would always be a mule hunt with a rifle Sad unless our hunters would be willing to purchase the warrens license (LOL, I still  have not purchased one yet!) Would any one be interested in hunting DH04 again?
4. In closing, if you all have any thoughts, please post! Once again, thanks for hunting with the best site on the internet & supporting our weekly hunts

HAPPY HUNTING & GOOD LUCK

-STAFF-

LOL Here we are under 50cm of snow (2 weeks ago we had 2 meters lol). This is the only place in the world where spring comes in June LOL Very Happy

Keep up the good work on the site! And good luck to all!

What is wrong with the crossbow. It's part of the arsenal but never included in the hunts, especially DH 2004isv? Does someone have an aversion to using it? After all, it is a single shot weapon that requires reloading after each shot. More difficult to use than a rifle, pistol, or shotgun.

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch...

Wherever the site decides to go in the future count me in, i think The Hunter would be a nice addition to the Tourny schedule because it seems to be getting more and more popular, (Damn...now I will have to break down and boost my video card...lol) Although I enjoy the 07' hunts, it has seemed to have lost it's luster just a bit, I still enjoy hunting it but I feel 05' has more competition or participation. Please don't stop the DHAC series, I really look forward to starting the next one now that I understand what it takes to compete in it (lookout JJ, Mossy, Micky, etc....lol)
good luck to you guys going forward with this one! Keep up the Goodwork Hagadoo, my wife has'nt left me yet so it looks like she does'nt mind me playing all the time, she actually asked me the other night if I was ever gonna win a Tourny.....the nerve of that woman, I simply told her this is'nt Pacman or Asteroids....it actually takes talent!!! Happy Hunting!!!

What is wrong with the crossbow.

I'll let you in on a little secret, It will be the last weapon we use in the skill building series! Smile I have not forgotten about it.

I changed my mind, in 2 weeks (starting 3-22) we will hunt Mulies with the cross bow! I will call this hunt "Mossy's Crossbow Massacre"!

read your note on D&F for future hunts..... wouldn't mind some DH2004 hunts in the future. Used to do quite a lot of hunts when there were more hunting sites such as CoyoteCreekCamp and a few others I can't recall right now. I have over 400 maps for DH2004, so I wouldn't have to download many maps (unless someone happens to create some new ones) LOL. Don't get me wrong, do like DH2005 although it's pretty new to me....
Don't have any real opinion on DH2004 ISV yet, haven't hunted that one much yet...

Of course, I'll likely got with the flow, if you know whut I mean, Vern.....
