Was hunting for RB/WR whitetails on a slaughter map the other day and saw what I thought was a Jackrabbit with antlers. What the heck do you call such an animal? Surprised  Just joking about the rabbit. LOL  As a matter of fact, you can buy such a thing already mounted in some hunting catalogs.  I think they are called a Jack-a-lope, right?  Didn't know they were in the game, though. Had to shoot the durn thing and get a screen shot of it to show some friends.  Bet they have never heard of such a thing.... Being from out west (Arizona), I had heard of these animals before, but have never actually seen one, myself. Smile

Would add the screen shot, but still not sure how to do it..

ron4560,

Not a bad job of taxidermy, there. As for there actually being such an animal, am not positive about it, but may do some research one of these days LOL

May even do a Google search. Will let you know what I find, ok?

Don't waste your time, they don't exist. Just another plop in the piles of B/S out of Texas. "The jackrabbits are so big, they mate with antelopes."
You take a 3 lb. bag and put 5 lbs. of that crap in it. Put a big stetson hat and a lone star belt buckle on it, voila, you've made a Texan.

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch...

LogJumper here, Mossyback,

Just thought I'd have a little fun, there LOL, altough there are several web sites dealing with the animal.  Just for fun do a Google search. You may be surprised. Very Happy  There's even a 'hunting license' that you can get. It's issued by the residents of Wyoming, where this thing originated...

Also, just for laughs, maybe you all can sort of issue a license to hunt them in DH2005 maps, for those that wish to try their luck.  They ARE quite rare, believe you me...  Wink

Just trying to relieve all the 'boredom' some find with all these games.

' A hunter of the first water, that's me
