Warning to Jimbo and TrueSniper I ran into a texture glitch I think near the house with board fence around it
I was stalking a buck I had put an arrow in its rear and was moving sideways so to get another close shot
had to go around the house to other side somewhere near the fence but still in the trees I got kicked out with
message DH2005 has stopped working . It may be just a video glitch on my machine just be aware . and BTW
good luck to you both.

Thanks for the heads up Lucky, this also happened to me but I was near the house in bottom right of the map and lost buck I was stalking too. Also I fell through the map about half way up to the bridge on the right side river bank.
Good luck guys, hopefully there won't be to many more glitches.

I entered the game here on the map and instantly it crashed the game completly, so i decided to move my entry point around but where ever I try to enter in this area or if I go near this area after entering else where it crashes, so this area is a no go for me. I had a scout around where Lucky said but it seems fine to me, maybe it is different glitches for different machines.

I entered the map where the fence is and was ok until I went out of the area and came back then the map quit. this usually happens because of the quantity custom objects or one that is over 5 megabytes and has no mip maps at a distance in the game combined in one area. Even todays computers can't handle that. For Example: I made a 5 string bobwire fence. They were fine in the map until I put too many and they were only 4kb apiece without mips. but at a distance they couldn't read a bunch of them and would crash. I threw them in the trash. The 1st Cypress Trees I made did the same thing. Threw it in the trash. Remade the trees as low polygon models, Put mips in with them and guess what? They worked without crashing the game. Made a beautiful Tiger model, it was 26 mb, threw it in the trash. Sometimes better isn't better for an older game like this. Making a map looking like a Rembrandt doesn't mean it will run like a Ferrari. One tip mapmakers should heed.
