Hi guys. Love the site. This is the first time I've written, but please know I love this site, the game, and can't thank you all enough for your forums of deer hunter 2005 wisdom.

Is there a way I could get the hybrid patch and Danthemanboone's complete "Memories of Michigan" map set? My computer keeps stalling on the downloads from the site.

Any direct links would be wonderful.

The hybrid maps wont play unless you load in the hybrid patch first.
Occasionly some have to load the map editor as well.

Check to make sure the hybrid patch has loaded to the game folder. It will be a folder named Data. Not to be confused with the red circled triange (SPK) named data, which will also be in the game folder.

ANNNND I just realized I installed the patch (1.2) but not THE PATCH. It's all working. Thanks so much! This map is beautiful, and I've searched high and low for a decent Michigan map. Nothing touches this in execution.

hello all.. i just finished downloading the three new maps. when i went to play them, the scenery in "hit or miss" and "pine ridge valley" maps had big black areas pop-up as i started hunting! it was like the trees just turned into solid black foliage! i tried Jimbo's new map, "in the foothills" and it worked perfect. anybody else get this problem?

Can you tell me what time you strted the hunt.
There are thirteen lightmaps in a DH2005 map and there could be a problem with one of them.
Meanwhile,try starting at a different time and see if it still happens.

i re-tried all 3 maps at the respective start time settings of 7AM...10AM...2PM..5PM the only map that worked was "in the foothills" the other two still had the black-outs. i took a snap-shot of it but i do not know how to send here

This has got me stumped.
All the maps run fine for me, and last night on teamspeak they were being run on a server in multiplayer without any problems.
No one else has reported tjhis problem.
It sounds like the cause could be at your end and I have no Idea what it could be.

this is sure funny, as all my other maps i/c the H maps all work fine. i'll let you know if i figure it out!
