Well, I am not even going to respond to your demoralizing remarks anymore.  The site owner always gets the last word anyway and can say just about anything about any member in public that they want to.  Sorry I made you feel so bad, all you had to do was answer the 5 questions at the beginning of this thread, instead of making me out to be constantly stirring up problems and ruin the fun for the majority.

I have to start by saying, "It's only a Game!" It's designed for pleasure & relaxation, not world domination. Here at Hagadoo, Magnum& myself want it to be fun & enjoyable for all, including the Staff. You make it hard at  times to be fun & enjoyable! We are only human, and make mistakes also. The mistakes that are made at not meant to target or hold back anyone or group. Sunday morning, Magnum has the task of opening up to 120 email pictures & DHT's as quickly as possible (because if he does not, some complain about, "well when are the results going to be posted?") 120, that's a lot of numbers to look at in a short period of time, I would screw it up probably too if that was my task to do.
Jesse, when I received your email, I immediately contacted Mag, we took about and additional hour of my "free time" and went over the results again! We corrected what was wrong, and left what was right. You had a problem with other peoples score. We could not find those discrepancies, Although we added the numbers over & over again. I guess your math might have been wrong. See your not so prefect neither!
I support Mag when he said we are not responsible for your scores. We are trying to do too much, too quickly, to please too few. If your scores are wrong, please PM or email use & we will fix them. There is no need to post and try to make mag & I look like idiots. Magnum & I are a team, if you make him look bad, you make me look bad. Together we succeed or fail together.
Lastly, & I say this to Jesse, Mossy or any one else reading this, If our site, & your confidence in this site is so low, then why are you still sticking around? My only conclusion is, to make us look bad, hoping we would fail. Lets try being supportive & constructive here. Look at Blitzking (Brain) he is not even a Mod here, and he acts like this site is his. He assumes ownership in something he does not own. He supports and contributes, and gets no recognition for it, but he still continues to help every one out. Jesse, he asked you nicely to post some of your tricks, you said "no", (an I will paraphrase your answer) I will never win another weekly hunt again or the legend, or something like that. Where is your helping hand? I am not talking about what you done in the past, I am talking about what are you doing for the site now! I want this site to be the best, I work hard to make it that way & our numbers show it. If you don't feel the same way, then please stop tormenting yourselves & leave.

Does the following rule only apply to Mossy and I or what?  Why don't the owners of this site just delete this whole thread, my 5 questions will never get answered anyway.

4.If you have a problem with another member of the site, Please express your views to him or her in a private message. Do not air your dirty laundry out in the forums or the shout box. Failure to comply will result in a warning. Continued abuse could result in banning.

Jesse, this was in private, you moved it into the public eye, not us. I told you I talked to Mag about it and we corrected it. You still had to push the subject. I (I do not know about Mag) have sent you and others numerous PM's & emails jut about everything possible, but yet you continue to push this subject.
You are now upset and want to have your map removed from the tournament. You then edit your post to say "saved for legal purposes". Then you edit your post again to "Copy"?
When you & Mossy showed back up, you (Dripbag) provided false information to us. This was a banable offense, but we over looked it and allowed you two to have your name changed back to the ones you currently have. You have all your old titles & recognition still from the old site. We have bent over backwards for you, & still you push. It still leaves me to wonder, if we (I) are so screwed up, why are you still here? It must be just to cause problems, like your hunting skills, you do it very well!
Jesse you are very talented and a skilled hunter, I would say "The Best", why don't you start your own hunting site and run it properly & your way? That way it would never be wrong. It does not cost that much neither.
You once posted that you are 3 deer short of getting another title. What title would that be? We have not even posted the standards for "ProHunter"  let alone any other titles above that. Those standards will not be posted anytime soon. Supposed I made the standards even harder, you would say I did that just to mess with you. I can not win. I don't think anything Mag or myself does here will ever please you, but yet you still hang around.
When Mag comes home from work today, I will have a long talk with him about this subject. Good luck with your entries this week & Happy Hunting! Smile

Why this constant talk of banning. As ex military, do you feel that getting rid of anyone who has a problem with you or disagrees with you is the American way. Should members have no right to express their views without fear of being "banned". I'm sure it would be easier to just get rid of someone for no reason. That is how these third-world dictators do it. However, as Jesse said, the site owner has the final word so do whatever you like.

Good luck in the hunts this week...

Jesse to answer you question the scores are fixed.  As you know it doesn't matter what you put in the weight or distance,  because you have to calculate the scores on a separate sheet of paper and then enter them in the program.  I went back and checked all three of the people that you mentioned and their weights are have been fixed in the standings to reflect them.  Ron and gunslingers overall scores were not effected.  The only one whose overall score was effected was Dk's and if he has a difference in what he thinks his score should be then he can send me a pm and I will take another look at them.

Thanks Maqnum.

Rutmaster, I already record most of my hunts, when I don't forget to hit F5.  As a matter of fact, I used to post them for a while here in the winners page as a linked named .rec. Because of the file sizes of the .rec, I was told by Hagadoo to stop doing that as it took up to much file space.  I can understand why he told me to stop though because the .rec can be rather large, depending on how long the recording is.  My favorite recording is one taken of Mossy carrying his horse while walking down a steep hill.  It was a fluke in the game map, I guess.  He fell through the horse while riding it.  He was standing on the ground with his head and shoulders just over the saddle.  When Mossy went forward it looked like he was carrying the horse because the horse was not moving its legs, but Mossy was.  I have never seen that happen again.

It would be great if we could have some more videos from memorable hunts posted.

I can understand that Hagadoo and the other hunting sites don't want to host the videos on their site, and with the free image hosts out there it's not necessary either.

Only problem is you will need to convert (or record from) the .rec file to a format supported by the image host you are using.

Quote from PhotoBucket:

Quote:
What file types are supported?

The supported file types are:

Images - gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp. Photobucket converts bmp files, which are not appropriate for the Internet, to jpg files, which are.

Videos - 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, dv, dvx, flv, gif, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, qt,  wmv, xvid, rm. All video files are converted to Flash Video (flv) format when you upload them.

swf - SWF file uploads are limited to Pro account holders. SWF files must be 10MB or less, and can only be uploaded through the Image & Video Uploader, the old Photobucket image uploader, or via FTP. If you want to upload SWF files into your Photobucket album, we recommend that you upgrade to a Pro account.

A file name must end in one of the above extensions or your upload will fail, and you will get an error message. In addition to the correct file extension, the internal file type must be one of the supported types. If you have a media file with an extension that is not on the supported list, use a graphic/image or video editor, and try converting it into a supported file type, then save it as the new file type, with the appropriate extension.

Using a program like FRAPS you can do this - I'm sure several here are familiar with it.
The video files from FRAPS are on the larger size and myself I use Windows Movie Maker to make it smaller.  I know there are better programs out there than WMM, like Sony Vegas for instance.  But WMM comes with some (if not all?) Windows systems and is a good way to start I think.  I've just started to play with making in game movies myself using FRAPS and WMM, great fun.

I agree, and if you have problems with your score, they should also be aired privately. Then there would not be a silly post like this, getting way out of hand. I know I have not been able to be around because of health reasons, but Magnum and Rez are doing an outstanding job, and should not be getting their balls busted over an error.
