A challenge for a change, even if it's not permanent would be fun.

There are plenty of that type map and they have been used in tournament play.  Down load "Coal Hallow" or Magnums
"The Maze" if you want a challenge Laughing

The Maze is no challenge at all.  I can tell you this most of the maps we have been playing for a long while now have really had no challenge to them at all.  In fact sorry to say it but under the way we use to have the maps in different categories jimbos flat maps would of been under the slaughter maps.  flat open and long view distance no challenge there.  As things stand now Im not sure if im gonna keep hunting the tournys or not. I will tell ya this though there is a big difference between using the horse and reloading.  I know ive been around long enough to know that reloading was always frowned upon.  I also know we use to get complaints from other sites because we used small maps.  I also can remember doing deer drives on this site and the site I was at before hagadoo.  Everyone got a chance to have the deer pushed too them.  Infact I still kinda do it now ive helped alot of the hunters here get deer some have even helped me a time or two.  When the game starts to lose its fun then you know things are wrong. Will it ever be as fun as it use to be who knows. I know ya cant please everyone just have to find something everyone can agree on and stick with it.

Perhaps there is an option? It would be more time consuming for Ray and probably Vic (since vic has to do entries and all), but it could possibly put more variety into Hagadoo...

Maybe, instead of just having 1 set of weekly hunts leading up to a tournament, there could be 2 sets of weekly hunts that lead up to 2 completely different tournaments.

1 set of weekly hunts can remain the same as it is now. The 2nd set would run at the same time as the 1st set but would have a completely different map and objective. The 1 set hunts would continue to have the same type maps, same method, while the 2 set hunts will have harder, larger maps, with a shortened view distance, and provide more of a challege.

Like I said, this could solve problems, but could also create issues with Ray and Vic's time having to create hunts and process twice the entries... But like I also said, it could add a variety.

Now, if this were to happen, I think this would need to be done; Any person can participate in BOTH of the weekly hunts, but if they qualify for BOTH of the final Tournaments, they must choose just ONE to participate in. This allows there to be 2 separate legends, and not just one person winning them all...

Just my two cents, thought I'd throw that out there. Good luck!

Thank you all for all the input. I am going to lock this thread and move it out off the announcement section. I have read & heard all your suggestions. I feel there is still a lack of harmony that the site processed a while back missing. Maybe its a seasonal thing, IDK? In time I expect all to come round. Let me just say this though, our weekly hunts will always continue

Starting in July, as we work our selves to the Winter Legend, I will be making some changes because of the suggestions made. We will be hunting a lot more mixed maps will be one Smile Unfortunately,  (unless our numbers explode between now & then) we will not have 2 brackets of hunters. What will happen is a lot of effort will be put in for 3 or 4 hunters. This is very time consuming, and most of us have lives outside the game. I myself, my business is picking back up, & I find my self hunting less & less.

If you have further questions or statements you want to make, please start a new thread in the forums.

And lastly, Thank You all who support and continue to make this site great Smile
