Found my old DH2005 cd in an old drawer and decided to pop her in... she's installing right now! Gave me the bright idea to pop in here again after years... I can't believe you guys are still at it.  Loved the community for this game... making maps were fantastic.  Good to see some of you again.

Nice to have you back.

We are all still Fanboys and Fangirls of this great old game.
There have been a few changes, Rez took over as owner and passed it on to Ron early last year.

We now play with a new patch called the hybrid patch.
This patch allows map makers to include the models from DH 2004 directly from the editor when making maps, so enriching the environments and allowing more diversity in the maps.

To play these maps you will need to download the DH2005 Hybrid patch and install it in your game.

To make the maps just use the standard editor once you have the hybrid patch installed.
Please mark any Hybrid maps you make clearly as hybrid on the loading screen (LoadingBG)

There is a new section in the download files for the Hybrid maps but you will still be able to play the standard maps with this patch installed.
Dont forget to download and install your 1.2 patch as well.

If you are using a new operating system , IE vista onwards, you will need to run the game in Administrator mode and set compatibility mode as well.
Once you have installed the game right click on your start Icon and set Administrator mode.. then right click again and set Troubleshoot compatibility, that should set you going without any problems.

let us know if you get stuck with anything.
