Hey guys,

Some of you may remember me, I played a few years back for a short while and I am getting back into the game as I just found my old copy of the game. I have a new computer and everything so I am trying to install all of the patches and yourname.pro. I put the yourname file in the profiles folder of the game but nothing happens when I get into the game. Also Dan, I tried that link you gave to WarEagle10 for the patches and it said the items were no longer available or something. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Drewski

Welcome back to hagadoo.
I have moved my store to Google drive so here is the link to the patch folders

https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B2Gy9yYp7Vv8MEVSSE1fZTlhTTA/edit?usp=sharing

Let us know what your new operating system is and we can help you get set up.

Cheers.

That link worked perfectly Dan, thanks.

I got the Hybrid and 1.2 patches installed. Now if I could just get yourname.pro to work. I am running Windows 7 Home. I have put the file in my Game>Profiles folder but it doesn't show up. I have also just placed it in the Game folder, and the Deer Hunter 2005 general folder. Still no results.

Ok , for windows seven you need to do the following.

Right click on your desktop game short cut icon and select ..Run as Administrator.

Then right click on the shortcut again and select .. troubleshoot for compatibility.
Run the game then close and confirm the compatibility dialogue box.

You may also have to put a password on your admin account otherwise the system may not allow you to make changes [delete ] to C:drive files.

Hopefully that will iron out the bugs.
If you have the Level editor installed you should do the same with it if you intend to make any maps.

Keep us updated.

Ok, I am able to play on downloaded maps but I still can't figure out yourname.pro.

Do I need to leave it in the folder it comes in? Do I place the file in the Profiles folder? I don't know why it isn't working.

it needs to reside in the same folder as the profile you are using and it must be unzipped otherwise it wont work

Typical location is in the profiles folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Deer Hunter 2005\Game\Profiles

it can be edited to your own name in game

Take the file out of the folder as well and only place the file into the profile folder.

I re-downloaded it to make sure that I didn't do something wrong. Extracted it to the Profiles folder and in game it still doesn't show up. I am attaching a SS of the folder showing it in there.

Have you got the 2005 your name pro.
We have 3 versions on site. Th2003, DH2004 and DH2005.
DH2005 is on page 2 of the Patches.
