I refuse to talk on Atari and their business practices as that doesn't fit into what the original topic was.  I was pointing out as far as THIS game goes avalanche is making great improvements to it, and your trying to get me into a who vs who battle, which I won't do.

Sam, I like the hunter and this is not a battle. But this is fact. Avalanche has yet to put out anything. They say at the end of May will be there 1st update. After we get their 1st update, we will then wait for the 2nd Smile Emote done the same thing, gave us an update, made us wait , then gave us something else, until they up & disappeared. I will hold all praise for TH until I see how fast they get the 2nd update out and what is released with it. Yes, they do seem to be on the right track, but at first, we all thought the same thing with Emote. So the second update and content released will be the critical decisions point as to rather or not I feel the game is headed in the right direction. Just my observation Smile

I'd have to agree with that REZ.  Lots of companies start off with the throttle all the way down, then cut back to standby.  Really hoping they don't ya know?

That is what I was trying to say also.  Lets see what happens after the first month or two of updates and things start to go bad.  Are they going to start throwing out crap like emote?  Only time will tell.  I do know this, they formed a sub company of avalanche, and this company isn't go to make it on good intentions alone.  Hopefully they stick to their guns and all goes well.

You guys never did mention that they are changing the engine in the game that is 2 yrs old and adding a new one.  They have been fixing little bugs here and there and I was told they want to make sure most of the bugs are fixed and corrected before adding the new engine.  These guys are way more helpful than emote ever was. As far as everything goes 05 only has better graphics alot of the older games had better weapons and such.  One true fact all companies are set up to make money.
