Well this isn't a hunting story but I figured I would share some photos with you.   On Sunday morning I was at my gf's house and decided to go outside for some fresh air.  As I walked out  from under her carport and towards the edge of the patio, something to the left startled me.  There was nice size doe in the yard.  She just stared at me and jokingly I waved at it and said "hi".  She then put her head down and went back to eating.  I then looked for something to feed it and I grabbed what was left of a tomato plant.   When it saw the plant in my hand it started walking closer but stopped about 15 feet from me.  I told my gf to get her camera and she comes out with some animal crackers.  I told her "what the hell is this?  They don't eat animal crackers!  Just get the camera."  Well she proceeded to throw handfuls of crackers on the lawn and evidently, deer or at least this one likes animal crackers.  She got about 3 feet from me and showed no fear until I noticed a yearling in the ferns behind her.  When I got up to walk by it, she ran in between us and then her and the yearling took off.  Hopefully next week I will get some pics of me petting her but until then here are the pics I took.

It is kind of tough to see but there are ferns in the back and a little gully.  I didn't even see the yearling until it picked up its head.  It was tiny.  I wish I got pictures of that.

As long as you don't Feed them the "Deer" Animal Crackers they will eat them. They tend to get Nasty if you try to feed them the Deer ones!
