Hunters World

There is a new massive multiplayer game in development called Hunters World. Here's the link; The game is not released yet and is still in its Alpha Phase.

Please go there & check it out, sign up if you choose and read up on it in their forums. Although the graphics are not as cheesy as The Hunter, I feel every one on this site should be able to run the game with little problems, although I do not know that for Gospel. My guess is there will be some costs associated with, but like The Hunter, there will be a free version available. They have a teaser trailer & screen shots to view.

As you all know, I love multiplayer hunting, We all are hoping this game will fill that void left by DHT & The Hunter! So go check it out, become active in there forums (but don't forget about us LOL) and who knows, you just might get selected to be a tester.

Hi there

I've been asked to pop over from Hunter's World and to introduce myself here on Hagadoo!

First of all, nice website.

I'm the community producer on Hunter's World, which will be the first ever Massively Multi Player online hunting game.

We're still in the early development stages, but are encouraging people to join us and help build the game into something that really appeals to hunters of all levels. We're currently concentrating on realism rather than making the game look pretty, so if you're lucky enough to be chosen as a Ranger (game tester) you will get to see the game evolve around you.

And maybe even see some of your ideas and suggestions implemented into the game over time.

Hi mrtibbs. Thanks for the kind words about the site. We are all looking forward to the new game. A lot of people on this site love the multi-player aspect of the game.

Yes, the multi player aspect is a really big feature of the game. It opens up so many possibilities.

The game is still in the earliest phases of development, a set release date has not yet been determined. The game is open to Rangers, and if you join over at Hunter's World forums, you may be chosen to become a Ranger and have access to the current build of the world and hunt along side other rangers. Hope this helps a bit.

Ok, when you sign up it's not randomly chosen if you become a Ranger or not. What happens is that us rangers vote for what members we would like to see as Rangers based on the members level of activity in the forums. A member who provides detailed suggestions and such will have a higher chance of being nominated then voted on to become a Ranger. Rangers are added each month and the number varies. One thing is that the Rangers are TESTING the game, not just playing it. They need to be able to provide solid feedback and not just be curious to see what it's all about then leave.
