How to change your game map and game minimap

someone asked me how to change the game map and minimap so I figured I would post it here.
1) open up your map and move red cursor all the way off of the mini- map. Hit print screen on keyboard, save and exit.
2)open up your paint program. Hit control V and you will see a the picture you just took.
3)select the cutout tool and cut out the minimap from the picture.You should now have something that looks like this.

4)select new, and then click on image and change to 256x256
5)now right click your mouse and select paste. drag the pic until you can no longer see the white.

6)now select save. change the file type to png. save it in your mapfolder to the file called gameminimap. It will ask if you want to overwrite,select yes.

Do the same for creating the game map. The only changes will be the size is now 512x512 and the name of the folder will be gamemap.
