Only thing I've found good about a feeder is to mark a spot you may want to return to !!

I DO THAT WITH THE GPS. I MARK THE SPOT, TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF THE GPS, THEN PRINT IT OUT AND LABEL IT OR ADD MY NOTES TO IT. I HAVE THEM ALL OVER MY COMPUTER DESK.

You won't see deer at the feeders--- but after a while, you will see larger deer, probably not a dramatic difference, but heaveir weights.....

If it is a custom model deer feeder, you might see deer there.  There is a code you add when you make the model that is "supposed" to attract the deer.  Well at least that is the theory.

The scout mode equipment has never been proven to attract deer. It's really good for nothing more than tree stands, ground blinds and markers you can use if you happen to find the hot spots on zoned maps.

The markers you put on the GPS get erased every time the map loads. Scout equipment stays on the maps until they are picked up again in  scout mode. There is a scout file created in the game when scout equipment is used. That makes the equipment stay put.

TK...what would be a reason it would'nt stay on the map? My feeders always dissappear after I leave the game.

Chris, do you have a Scout file in your game folder? That's probably the reason why. Please post back Smile

Same reason why profiles end up missing if you are using Vista. They got put into a compatibility folder, most likely. Check the Scout folder in the Game folder.
