does "no multi-weapon entries" mean that you can't use two weapons to kill the deer, but is OK for hunter to have multi weapons in his or her gear as long as the designated weapon is only weapon listed on the DHT? Sorry for all the questions but I want to be on the same page with y'all.

It means any entries that are tagged as multi-weapon will not be allowed. The game will tag any trophy shot with both weapons you are carrying if you use both before the deer is dead.
If a weapon is specified, only the trophies you submit with the correct weapon used will be allowed.
Tourneys that are any weapon, means any weapon can be used, but multi-weapon is still not allowed unless otherwise specified in the tourney objective.

What they're trying to say is: a "multiweapon" kill is using different weapons to kill 1 particular deer, ie. shooting 1 with an arrow, then finishing it off with a gun.

This weeks hunt is scopeless muzzleloader only, so if you are going to carry another weapon, don't use it on your deer for the weekly hunt....might want to carry 2 scopeless muzzies, lol   I might Wink

Just to be crystal clear, IT IS OK TO CARRY A SCOPED WEAPON AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SHOOT DEER WITH THAT WEAPON.

well, you woud have to ask a staff that who explained and made the weekly hunt, but why don't you use the Binoculars? Or the spotting scope?

Read rule 10 in the rules for the weekly hunt found at the bottom of the DH2005 & 04 menu's. It plainly states this;

10. You must hunt with the stated weapon for every hunt. No multi-weapon entries will be accepted,unless the weapon for that week is "ANY" The only exception to the rule is any animal taken with the Compound, Recurve,or the Longbow (sorry, no crossbow for this exception!) will be accepted.

The bow may always be substituted as for the difficulty level increase with it. The bow & muzzleloader can not be used together this week, as it would show as a multi weapon kill!  I hope that resolves any further questions about this topic. Smile

Use the spotting scope, it will tell you distance (the bino's do not) so you can properly judge your shot. Good Luck!

MY QUESTION REMAINS UNANSWERED. is it legal to "CARRY" a scoped weapon, not shoot or finish off just 'CARRY" on the hunt along with the muzzleloader. I am hoping for a yes or no answear.

Sorry, yes it is OK to carry a scoped weapon. If you shot the deer with it this week, the deer will not count though.

Make  a new folder in C: Program Files/Atari  Name it Deer Hunter 2007. Then make a copy of your Deer Hunter 2004 folder as is if it actually DH 2007. paste the copy inside Deer hunter 2007. Uninstall the existing deer hunter 2004.  thru add or remove programs or the uninstaller in the DH 04 folder. Then reinstall it. You will then have both versions of the game.
