Just thought I'd tell someone (anyone, really) LOL Finally shot my first cartoon deer; heard others talk about them previously, but hadn't ever seen one until hunting the current maps. At first, thought it was an albino, but then watched it a little while before taking it down. Wanted a screen shot of it just to show some friends....
Anyway, just wanted to holler about it. Not earth-shattering, I know, but it was a little surprising to me anyway. Surprised

BTW, did get to download the maps needed for the current hunt, along with most of the maps for DH2007 listed in the download section of the site. Found a high-speed (1-2 meg a second) internet connection at the local colledge library.. will have to go back for some maps later...

Magnum1973,

Just uploaded a pic of the cartoon deer to the Photo Gallery. Don't know just how to put in the forums, though.. Sad

A question: if such a deer meets the weight requirements, could it be used for an entry in the hunt? Just wondering....
