Version 5, well hell that answers all the "are they working on it" "adding to it" questions right there.

Plus I just saw this post on thehunter forum   Embarassed

One other thing I just thought of Arrowslinger and this pertains to them adding new content, like weapons.  I am going to go out on a limb here and say it is only matter of time when hunters like you and BNB and there are others, get tired of hunting with the rifle and want to start using their bows. Very Happy

Hell buddy I am already there  Laughing

Look, I am not trying to be overly dramatic or come off as a fanboy, I just think we "the hardcore" deer hunter series community have a golden egg in our hands. I was popping ideas to Sunstorm in the developement of DH2 then got in on the testing of DH3, I loved doing it but did have one let down it was the fact we were testing a game that was for all intentional purposes complete. No major changes could be done, just tweak what was already there, I still enjoyed it but the fact we could not get things changed was a big let down.

Here we have the best looking outdoor enviorment graphics to date and a company that appears now adding things as we speak and looking to the community for thoughts and suggestions. Sure we are all not going to like everything but all in all this could be the best one yet?

Again in 6 months just the elk and trophy room, I will tire of it also Im with the rest, I want more Smile

[quote="Arrowslinger @ Sat Mar 14, 2009 1:30 pm"]Yea I guess if there aint some sort of patch to download means they must just be sitting back laughing rolling in the cash  Rolling Eyes

I cant believe all the gripes on a game thats been out in public a single month everyone wanted "realistic" well I got news for you, this is it.

Seen the prelimary screenshots? In case your busy slamming and not reading:

http://www.thehunter.com/pub/devblog.php

When is stating a view slamming ? and yes I have but they are not yet implemented

Can you walk 20 ACTUAL miles in any DH series map without going in circles seeing the same area rendered over and over? And this one is just the first, I will sacrafice tons of maps for huge areas.
Walking is not the point shooting is.

If the developers had tried to make a hunting sim instead of a social world it might work

Multiplayer = Social Network, Since DH3 its been a "social world"

Social world of my choosing not the games.

If they had made the mule deer look like mule deer instead of anorexic big roe it might work.

This is where we agree I admit they look strange, but no denying the actions and the look is more realistic than the cartoon look.

Cartoon ? you decide

Yup coloring does have the cartoon look, coloring in theHunter is way more realistic.

The way you decide?

I never thought i would actually enjoy a soap oprea...I stand corrected! "As the Deerhunter Turns" Laughing I appreciate all of your opinions, you have saved me alot of aggravation by playing the game. I sure as Heck will not be spending my hard earned money on this game untill these issues are resolved. I was actually going to go out today and buy a new video card to play the game but I think I would much rather buy a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum and hunt DH2005. Happy Hunting!!

a re-write of a famous quote:

you can make all the people 'happy' Laughing  some of the time, or make some of the people 'happy' Laughing  all the time, but, you can't make all the people 'happy' Laughing  all the time.

it would be a perfect world if 'everything' worked for everyone.......but it don't... and it's not.... Sad

no offense was intented with this re-ply..

Another quote by PT Barnum: "There's a sucker born every minute, and two to take him."

Why not wait until these games are completed before you throw your money at them. You people are paying them to let you test their game, and if they never make the changes or complete it your money is gone. This conversation reminds me of the same one about DHT.(the greatest thing since sex)

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch...

PT Barnum quoted "abraham lincoln" and added to the quote with  " you can fool too many of the people too much of the time"
