Dynamic objects are models that are set to only appear to a preset distance around the player.
Generally things like grass, bushes, branches or twigs, flowers and pine cones, in fact anything that dissappears when you set the ground objects on LOW is a dynamic object.

So setting grass so it can only appear out to 50 or 100 yards around the player can save on computer rescources and increase the frame speed on the map. That is not an option when placing normal objects like large trees and houses which are seen to the limit of the View distance set in the map, and so must always be read by the computer.

Any object can be set either as a dynamic or 'Solid' object.
When Making maps for legend competitions I place bushes and tall grasses as "solid" objects so they cant be turned off. I only use dynamics for things that will not affect the difficulty of the map if the ground objects are turned to low. That way every one hunts on a level playing ground.
