My daughter's soccer team was participating this past weekend in a big soccer tournament just east of our home in Lancaster PA. After winning our first 3 games, 7-1, 5-2, & 3-2, we moved to the winners bracket to play the champion match. After a hard fought 50 minutes of play, the girls ended the game with a 1-1 tie. With 45 minutes of solid offense, my daughters team just could not finish it and we ended up in PK's (Penalty Kicks). Unfortunately, we lost 4-3 in PK's. As you all may know, my daughter is the teams goal keeper, during a PK shoot out, its all her. Our team ended up in 2nd, a hard lost.

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. " Theodore Roosevelt
"Better to have been humbled by defeat than not to have played the game" Lucky
