Well, after setting every precipitation record here for our area here in central PA, we set another! The greatest single day snow event in October. the old record of 2 inches was set back in 65, today we got over 6 inches, UFB! I was hoping with all the rain we have gotten this past year, (well over 65 inches, normal is 23!) that we would have an easy winter, I guess I guessed wrong Sad 2011 will be the year of water for our great state here.

Ray I heard on the radio that the last 4 times we got snow in October, 3 of those times we got above average snowfall for that year.  Do I need to start on the global warming? Laughing

The cause of global warming has been traced back to the amounts of hot air generated by Politicians.

Atleast the weather is still warm so it wont last long. Last year where i live  NE South Dakota we ended the year with 88 inches of snow they are talking this year end to be around 100+. The bad part of the bad winter last year it took its toll on this years hunting kill off a lot of the pheasants and deer.
