This week's hunt is simple & straight forward for the most part. Shoot one deer that would be a good poker hand. The combination's are limited. If you have any questions about this hunt, please post here. I will move up the number of deer for future hunts when I receive more feedback from Vic about scoring and other active site members recommendations:)

I am putting together for next week and interesting hunt that will require you to shoot only 2 deer. It will be a scoring nightmare for Vic also, but if all goes well, you will see more like them.

It is a 3 season map, needless to say, it is big. If you have a slower connection, you may have problems. I'll address this with Dan in TS tonight (ie.. map size)

clarification on 1's
are they aces? or ones ? as in would 61.111 beat 69.999 ? 4 aces beating 4 9's ?

is 0  = 10   only  used in a royal ? as in 67890 ?

or could 4 0's be 4 tens and beat 4 9's   as in 60.000 and 69.999

Yes "0" does equal 10 in the example you shown.
4 ones is equal to 4 nines, the combo's are for point only.
It has nothing to do with "Ace's beating Ones", The number combination's are for points only. There are only 8 combination's that I will allow for points this time. I wanted to keep this first run simple until I work out the bugs.
Please keep the questions coming if you have them. Also, any suggestions. But I would prefer to talk about them in TS, its just easier that way.

Have Fun

REZ,

If there is a discrepancy between the DHT file and the screenshot, which one wins?

Example:
screenshot shows 65.858 - DHT file in Trophy Viewer shows 65.853

DHT blows a two-pair screenshot entry.  Normally, a few thousandths are not worth worrying about but in a Poker Hunt, it could mean losing some overall points.

The hunt rules state 'CHECK YOUR DHT's'.  I know to submit both, but are the DHT's the tie-breaker?

Thanks

In the hunt objective it says to "Check your DHT's" Wink  All hunts are always scored off the DHT's, we have you send both ( exports & s/s's ) because it allows us to see if everyone is playing fairly.

So when some of you hunters score your entries when you send them to me some of you are scoring the SS and not the DHT so if any of you guys are wondering why my score was slightly diff than what you scored thats why

When you shoot the deer and you bag it, the score shows up on screen of what you got.  This will be your dht score as well.  If you go directly to your trophy room and take a screen shot and export dht, they should both be the same.

As Magnum and Vic were saying the best way to ensure it scores the same, shoot 1 deer in game, exit game, go to trophy room and export.  This will keep the scores matching a huge majority of the time.  If you shoot 2 deer on a map, the first of the two you shot will be different.
