Released today for this weeks hunt.. The "DTMB 207 sniper scope" can be found in the New downloads, or in the custom skins section.

Picture shows a brown hare shot dead with one shot at 455 yrds.

Normally a scope of this class .. Wide screen and range calibrated..would cost you big bucks.. but this weeks free introductory offer is to registered users only.

Have fun

on your screen shot it says set default to 109.. my recticle says set to 103 yards but there is no 103 default.

also I had a deer at exactly 300 yards away put the 300 marker on the deer and shot and the deer didn't even flinch like the bullet was nowhere near him

Sorry if my explanation has confused the issue. Set the Range at 109 yrds that is the setting for the 207 scope. if you set it at anything else it will not be calibrated correctly and the range marks will be progressively worse the greater the range. Surprised

Even with everthing set right the 207 ammo profile has the greatest hit radius settings of all the weapons and as I pointed out dont expect great groupings. It will still miss about 30% of the time. :x

It will not give you an outright kill over 80yrds and you will usually need 4 or 5 shots at long distance, But it is the only weapon in the rack that will shoot to 500 yrds. Sad  :(

PS the scope reticle will only work with 207 ammo.

I've seen deer at exactly 300 yards and put the 300 yard line on them and shoot.. nothing then keep moving my target closer to the 200 yard line. I hit the deer usually when I put the 200 target just above the deer. the 200 yard line is closer to the target than the 300 yard marker at 300 yards.

Am I doing something wrong?

I suspect that you are either using the wrong ammo or You havnt set your scope to 109 yards.

the scope was made for the 207 ammunition only as it has some peculiar variances that do not exist on the other ammos.
If you are using it with any other ammo...it will not work.

make sure your game settings are in yards and not metres.

Download the map 'Rays dead on bullseye map' from the muledeer downloads and go test it there. You will be able to see what is happening out to 499 yrds.

OK, I'm a little lost here. Does it say 103 when viewing through the scope, or 103 when in the setting for your "Gear" when you are customizing your weaponry?

Also, please post a screen shot of what you are exactly seeing, TY

There has been an error on the reticle screen. It says set to default 103 yrds when it should be 109yrds.

My Bad. Embarassed

However the read me file tells how to set up and is specific and is correct.

I set my calibration to 109 yards.

However, at the new map you had me try it out I the 200 marker was dead on at 200  but at 300 yards the 200 marker was still almost dead on and at over 400 yards I need to aim between the 200 and 300 lines to hit the target.

Weird
I am shooting hares and rabbitts at all ranges with it. 3 out of five times

Go back to site and download the reticle again, this time you will get a screen that says 109 yards.

I cant figure what is going wrong. All the other feedback has been good and The reticle was tested by one of our top hunters
and he is still using it.

If you have any other patch or mod other than the 1.2 then you may have an upgraded ammo pack and it will not work with anything other than the original ammo specs.

I am using the .207 ammo at 109 yard calib.

my weapon skill is at 3

str is only 1..

My skill points all went to presence calling and tracking which are all maxed at

I re downloaded the scope but still no luck

on that map you had me downloaded I'm aiming at the barrels. I was about 450 yards away I was aimed at the middle barrels the 300 line was on at the top of the middle barrels.. the 400/500 yard line at the bottom. I unloaded my gun and my bullets hit the verrryyy top of the top barrels. Idk what I am doing wrong Sad
