PostForum: Trophy Hunter 2003 Map Making   Posted: Sat Jan 01, 2011 12:59 pm   Subject: Unknown Map Name
I know this is slightly off topic, but I couldn't figure out where to put it. There is a certain map I am looking for, for Trophy Hunter 2003. All I know was it was a night map, and at certain places sound effects would play (like people/zombies moaning and stuff (the first time I played the map it scared the heebie jeebies out of me.) And the picture in the map selectino screen was a bluish black background with a picture of a grizzly head (a real grizzly), and some other stuff. I know this description is really vague but it is all I can remember, and it is a map I really want to play again. Can somebody help me out?

Well that stinks. So I'm guessing that players only have limited modding skills. Besides putting in new "animals", objects, and buildings, and making new maps, there isn't really much else you can do. I was hoping that people could make new weapons, vehicles, hunter models, new huntable animals, the ability to "claim" ambient animals, making new items to use to hunt with, etc.  I don't own any Deer Hunter games (save for Deer Hunter II), I own Trophy Hunter 2003, but the games look similar gameplay wise. And I know the games are old, but its hard to believe that these games have such limited modding abilities.  Crying or Very sad

The beavers are ambient animals. The map the guy is on is in The San Juan mountains, Colorado. That map came with the game. Also there are hawks, eagles, squirrels, geese, ducks, and trout, on the different levels. They don't go into the Trophy Room though, but they are fun to shoot at. But not hte eagles, you can't hunt anymore animals, and you lose animals that you already claimed if you shoot and kill eagles and hawks.
