Thank you!

I'm a bit busy in RL at the moment but should find time for some weekly hunts here in the near future. I'll download and install that patch now, for starters.

Hi everyone,

I was active here for a very brief period back in 2009. Now I decided to give DH2005 another go, and boy what a surprise it was to find this place still alive and well!

I'll be participating in some of the coming weekly hunts for sure.

It's good to be back!

I spotted this nice buck! Unfortunately in scouting mode Confused
By the way, the map doesn't apear dark enough to me. Its more like red and blue skyes, and lots of myst.
Does this have something to do with my settings? I mean if this is supposed to be a night hunt, I shouldn't be able to spott animal silhouettes against the sky at a range of 400 yards and more - even rabbits Shocked

Ok, went scouting and quickly found out that the thermals are useless. I have much more success in spotting bucks in the distance, when they show their silhouette against the sky.
Finaly I decided to use a "spott and stalk" method to get in range, and then let my scoped pump action close the deal with a sweet sabot slug Wink

Since I also have TH2003 and still like playing it, I definitely vote YES for the weekly hunts! This site already rocks, but some variation in game other than deer, would make it even more interresting Rolling Eyes

Hi all, I'm the new kid on the block, and just wanna say hello Smile
I am german, living in Greece, and I just got DH2005.
I played TH2003 and DH2004 some time in the past, but I like DH2005 the most.
I wish you all virtual hunters good hunting...but leave the world record bucks to me Cool
