As you can see the site is back up. A screw up with the auto renew caused the site to be down for a bit.  I took care of it and its good for another year.  I just wanted to apologize to the members here for any down time.

It loads funny because this was a beta version of nuke extreme.  Killigan had once said that he would look at it but never got around to it.  I think you should just go with your "animated avatars" if that works because you probably will never find the code to fix it.

I didn't think it was possible to get choked up over the death of someone you never met.  I guess that's because meant so much to the online world and hunting community.  The first time I asked a map question at BGL, Tk was the one to respond. If it had been anyone else answering with a snippy answer, I think I would have just said the heck with the game and moved on.   Who know's?  This site might not have even been here without him answering that first question.   He personally helped me with moving and adding a lot of content when we moved the site to a different server.  Without his help, we never would got the place running.

I can honestly say that I have never corresponded thru more pm's or email with any other person on the internet.  It seemed like he never slept.  You could send a pm or make a post and there was TK answering it.

In these last two years while he was go through this difficult time, he chose to try to get BGL up and running again.  Most of the "healthy" people seemed to give up on that site but here was TK fixing the site, when he should have been focused on his battle with the cancer.  That just goes to show you the dedication he had to the community. Whether you knew him or not you should just take a moment to appreciate what he has done for us all.

I hope he is in a better place and at peace.(hopefully with a mic that works.)

You will be missed my FRIEND.  Thanks for everything.

Open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Start button , typing dxdiag in the Search box, and then pressing ENTER.  This will run a diagnostic tool and tell you if there are any problems with direct x.  You can access your video card, at least I can, by right clicking an empty space on your desktop.

Try changing the Direct X quality settings on the video card driver.

SAVE! SAVE! SAVE!  If you aren't sure, SAVE.  Make multiple copies of your map.

FYI, next to a woman, the SLS editor is the most unstable thing on the planet.  I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, save your map often.  I would even make a copy of it now and then and save it on the desktop.  This way if you mess up or if you can't open the map, you will have a copy to go back to.

Back to the original topic.  A while back I had been messing with 3ds max and converting mods.  Actually that is how I got to know hagadoo.  Anyhow, I started converting low polygon space models, with the hopes of building a kick ass space map.  I think I got about 4 of the items on the map, and the editor became more unstable than a democrat.  Tried to run it in the game and the fps were not good.  I suppose now maybe someone could make some different models but I highly doubt anyone would want to.

Ray I heard on the radio that the last 4 times we got snow in October, 3 of those times we got above average snowfall for that year.  Do I need to start on the global warming? Laughing

First time I used the crossbow was on Chupa Island.  I had a nice looking buck in my sites which turned into  a pin cushion when I was done with it.   I was embarrassed to tell anyone how many  shots that it took. Laughing
