I have Deadwood.  It is good.  But I was looking for a more denser forest, with slightly more tree variation, and a more brownish dead leaf colored terrain. More like Virginia Woods Post Rut without the snow on the ground.  Virginia Woods Post Rut by DanthemanBoone is perfect density and tree variation, but I want a brown ground LoL.  Thank you though

Hey again everyone,

Not trying to be a nuisance, and thank you all for your replies regarding the autumn maps you directed me to.  I was curious if you could find me another type of map.  Dead tree maps in the fall, or winter.  No grass or snow on ground, mostly just dead leaves.  In Connecticut and New York the forests have barely any leaves on them towards the end of the Fall.  The ground is littered in brown dead leaves, and the trees are tall, brownish grayish, and completely leafless.  I would love to find some thick, or at least moderately dense, forest maps which replicated this look.  If not, how easy would it be to go about producing these types of maps?  Thank you in advance.

Dan The Man Boone!

You're a life saver!  Thank you so much for the fast response and the detailed information.  I would never have downloaded the patch without your help.  The patch downloaded very fast, and there were no errors at all.  The installation was flawless.  I downloaded every single map you guided me to, and I love them.  They are exactly what I was looking for.  I will be looking for more Autumn Rut maps that resemble my New York woods.  But those maps are great, colorful, plenty of leaves, and overall beautiful.  I am so glad I now understand what a hybrid map is, and am so glad I can now download them.  This website and community are great.  Maybe sometime we can hunt online together.  Your Virginia Rut map I just scored a 300 lb buck! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, being very helpful, and for uploading these great maps for us to use for free!  Very professional and I am sure they were time consuming to make.

If any other members have any suggestions or recommendations to other fall-style maps, maybe dead green trees with leaves all over the ground and pine needles like New York, please let me know.

Thanks again for your help Dan the man.  Id love to play a session with you and pick your brain some more on Deer Hunter in general.

Hey everyone.  New user here.  Just started hunting in Deer Hunter 2005 again, and for the first time am downloading custom maps.  Was curious if there were any fall or autumn style maps.  Preferably with orange/brown/dark red colored leaves covering the ground, pine needle mounds/patches, areas covered with leaves, and trees that are leafless/almost leafless.  Also trees that have remaining leaves with a dark red, yellow, bright green, and orange style coloring.  Just fall-like.  Thick wooded areas and open grass areas covered with leaves on the ground.  I have not seen any fall-style maps in the dozens I have downloaded.  I was looking for a New York style forest is available.

If not, how easy would it be to make?  How easy would it be for ME to make?  Thanks
